24 Apr 2008 - Helicopter Visits School

Pool CE Primary School children enjoyed a unique experience when a helicopter visited the school.

The children took part in an aerial photograph competition by creating a smiley face on the playground which is linked to a line of the school prayer "a place where everyone can be happy"

They also enjoyed a talk about the workings and history of the helicopter and then all classes were photographed with the Crew in front of the helicopter.

It was a very memorable day and the children will all have a souvenir booklet as a lasting memory.
