We are a Voluntary Controlled Primary school for 4-11 year olds based in the popular village of Pool-in-Wharfedale, near Otley, W. Yorkshire.

Important Newsflash

Following the publication of KS2 league tables in December 2006, the school was found to be one of only 209 Primary Schools in the country to achieve 100% level 4 and above in English, Maths and Science. A very positive OFSTED inspection in the same month stated that Pool CE was " ... a good school where pupils feel safe and happy." They also " ... make good progress as they move through school, largely as a result of consistently good teaching but also because of their own good attitudes to learning."
The school was also awarded National Healthy Schools status and the new Action Mark Award in December 2006.
